A macro is a recording of keystrokes within the QueryTool SQL editor window that can be saved and then run to duplicate the keystrokes. Support for macro recording has been added to QueryTool as part of the 126.96.36.199 release.
To create a macro, place your cursor in the QueryTool SQL editor window and then press the Ctrl+Alt+R shortcut keys or select the Edit->Macro->Start Recording menu item. A recording image will display in the upper right hand corner of the SQL editor window similar to the one below to indicate that keystrokes are being recorded.
